Service Ministries

AMBASSADORS
Ambassadors are those warm, friendly and enthusiastic Center members who meet and greet first time guests and make them feel at home.  We answer their questions, provide information on classes and events, and establish an on-going point of contact for our honored guests.

BOOKSTORE
As a spiritual resource center for our Center, we provide books, CD's, tapes, and unique gift items to our Community and guests.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS
The routine maintenance of our church facility is our responsibility.  If you are a fix-it-up kind of person, we would welcome you to our team.  We also giving loving care to the grounds surrounding the Center.  All those who love to dig, plant, move and otherwise have a personal relationship with Nature are invited to join us.

CRYSTAL BOWL PLAYERS
We are responsible for the playing of the bowls on Sundays.  As each bowl is gently stroked by a trained bowl player, the congregation is called to prayerful silence as we begin the service.  We invite you to share in this sacred service.

GREETERS
As greeters, we are responsible for providing a warm welcome to each individual who comes through the Center's doors for Sunday Celebration.  We are most often the first person with whom those attending the service interact, and we thus serve the important function of giving first-time guests their first impression of the Center.   If you would like to take part in this important ministry, please let us know.

KITCHEN SERVICES
Following each Sunday Celebration, our community gathers to socialize and snack together.  Our ministry is responsible for setup and cleanup of the social hall and kitchen for this weekly event, as well as for other occasions.  We also provide kitchen support for the monthly covered dish luncheon.

MAIL TEAM
We meet for mailing any items being sent to members and friends of the Center.  As an additional bonus, we have the chance to see friends and to socialize with each other. We welcome you to join us, no special skills are needed.

MUSIC
We form the core of the music program at our Sunday Celebration and other events.  We welcome experienced musicians and singers to share in this sacred expression of Spirit.

ONLINE TECHNOLOGY & MEDIA
Our ministry is responsible for creating and maintaining our Center's presence on the Internet.  This includes creating and updating all online graphics, news, listing, spiritual messages, streaming video and audio and other vital information.  Our website  is continuously evolving and unfolding creatively and technically.  We invite you to consider serving with us if you are familiar with html, or other web applications and/or you are experienced in graphics programs, layout and design, or video/audio production.

PHOTOGRAPHY
The function of our ministry is to record special events and activities through the media and still photography. If you have an interest and experience in photography, we welcome you to our committee. 

PROSPERITY ACCEPTORS
We accept the financial gifts at our Sunday Celebration. 

SOUND
Our ministry's responsibility is to operate and maintain the Center's sound system for use at Sunday Celebrations and special events.  If you are interested in sound systems and technology, you are welcome to share in this important ministry.

SUNDAY CD and TAPE DUPLICATION
We are responsible for duplicating the CD's and tapes of the Celebration each Sunday and making these available for sale immediately following the service.  We also distribute these CD's and tapes through the mail.

WELCOME CENTER
The Welcome Center is located in the Center's lobby.  You will find information on all the activities of the Center and have the opportunity to speak with members who can provide information and answer any questions.
