Member Orientation
Everyone
desiring to become a member of the Center for Creative Living, and anyone interested in knowing more
about the history and organizational structure of the Center for Creative
Living is welcome to attend this orientation program offered once every four
months.
Attendance Requirements
* Each eight-week class requires a minimum
attendance of six classes, as well as
completion of all assignments for
certification.
* Practitioner I, a 35- week course, requires that participants miss no more than 6 classes to
complete
the course.
* Practitioner II is a 30-week course and requires attendance at 24 or
more classes to be
eligible for licensing as a Religious
Science Practitioner.

Fees
* All first year Science of Mind classes are provided on
a Love Offering basis so
that everyone has the opportunity to
learn the foundation teachings of Religious
Science without regard to ability to
pay.
* Tuition for Practitioner I is $500 for
the 35-week class. For payment plan details, contact Rev. Barbara

* Tuition for Practitioner II is $750 for the 30-week
class. This includes fees for testing,
licensing, etc.

8 Week Course – Instructor: Rev. Barbara Waterhouse – Text: Basic Ideas of
Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes
This introductory level class is
designed to provide a foundational understanding of the Science of Mind
principles. Participants will learn about their relationship with the
spiritual universe and how they can consciously use the power of Mind to
create vibrant health, loving relationships and greater prosperity in their
lives.
Introduction to Spiritual Mind Treatment
8 Week Course – Instructor: Dr. John Waterhouse – Text: Five Steps to
Freedom by John Waterhouse
The spiritual practice known
as Spiritual Mind Treatment is a cornerstone of the Science of Mind
philosophy. Participants in this class learn to use this five-step form of
affirmative prayer to create significant and measurable changes in the
conditions and circumstances of their lives.
Practicing Spiritual Mind Treatment
8 Week Course – Instructors: Rev. Barbara & Dr. John Waterhouse ~
Prerequisites are required.
Learn to effectively pray for another
person using the principles of Science of Mind and the five steps of
Spiritual Mind Treatment. This class explores issues of ethics and
responsibilities incurred when influencing the circumstances of someone
else's life. Prerequisites are Basic ideas of Science of Mind and
Introduction to Spiritual Mind Treatment.
Creative Mind
and Success
6 Week Class
Topics will
include: Principles of Prosperity, Health & Happiness, Universal Laws of
Manifestation, Using the Power of Mind The Law of Cause and Effect. Barry
Zito, Professional Pitcher for the Oakland A’s attributed his amazing
turnaround from 6 wins / 7 losses, 5.05 Earned Run Average to 17 wins / 8
losses, 3.49 Earned Run Average record in 2001 specifically to reading
Creative Mind every day. Everyone is welcome!

Everyone is welcome to come and learn how to attract more money into your
life. Creating money is easy! Abundant living is our natural
state. By developing clear outcomes and intentions for you lives and
breaking through whatever stands between us and true success, we will open
ourselves up the joys of living prosperously.

35 Week Course – Instructor: Rev. Barbara
Waterhouse – Text: 1926 edition of Science of Mind textbook & other Holmes
writings Curriculum includes Practitioner I Course Materials.
Prerequisites - first year class
work. 35 week class
This course expands on the spiritual principles explored in first year
classes, beginning with the original 1926 edition of the Science of Mind
textbook, continuing with newly published material from Ernest Holmes in
the Holmes Papers and finishing the year off with material offered from
the United Church of Religious Science's Practitioner I course. An
important aspect of this class is personal growth, strong connections,
individualized attention, support and refining our practice of Spiritual
Mind Treatment for each other and ourselves.

30 Week Course – Instructor: Dr. John

The final year of training and preparations for
licensing as a Religious Science Practitioner. Extensive reading list,
writing assignments and experiential exercises are included in this
curriculum. Prerequisites
include completion of all first year studies and Practitioner I.
